<div itemprop="description">CRISTOFARO, Francesco Antonio&quot;Frank&quot; was born in Ripabottoni, Italy on April 6, 1927. He married Michelina Cristofaro on October 23, 1950 and emigrated to Canada on August 24, 1951. Francesco worked at General Chemical for 39 years and farmed in Anderdon Township from 1963-1991. Francesco was an active member of the Verdi Club Folk Group, and a Member of the Verdi Club and Ushers Club at St. John the Baptist Church for many years. Frank was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed being with family and friends. Upon retirement he especially enjoyed looking after his grandchildren, his garden and making music on his accordian. Passed away peacefully on June 20, 2013 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Loving husband of Michelina (nee Cristofaro). Dear father of the late Luigi Cristofaro (2004) (Pat, nee Dupuis), and Domenic Cristofaro (LorryAnn, nee Gagnier). Cherished Nonno to Royce, Felicia, Hunter, Justin, Zachary and Anthony. Dear brother of Giuseppina Parente (the late Nicola) Assunta Cristofaro (the late Domenico) of Toronto, Anna Di Orio (Vito) of Toronto, Carmelina Fiorto (the late Filomeno) and the late Matteo (Teresa). Dear brother in-law to Matteo Cristofaro (the late Giuseppina) of London, Ninetta Sauro (the late Felice), and the late Teresa Colavita (the late Leonardo) of Italy and Fr. Alessandro Cristofaro (Capuchin Monk) of Italy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses, especially Shannon at Hotel Dieu 7 west for all your care and compassion.</div>
