Beloved husband of 56 years to Mary (nee Carosella). Loving dad of Anna and husband Dino Mancini. Proud Nonno to David and Deanna. Dear brother of Carmela (late Guido) Danese and Giovina (Beniamino) DeThomasis, and brother-in-law of Nicola (late Yvette) Carosella. <br> <br>Gaetano will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. He was born in Abbateggio, Pescara, Italy and immigrated to Canada in June 1956. Guy was retired from Seagrams, was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church, a member of the Verdi Club, and a longtime resident of Amherstburg. Gaetano worked hard to provide for his family and was most proud to always share his wine and his garden with family and friends. <br> <br>Visiting at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 from the funeral home at 10 a.m. going in procession to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at the Amherstburg Mausoleum. <br> <br>In kindness, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to St. John the Baptist Church Restoration Fund. <br> <br>You may leave your condolences online at www.jhsuttonfuneral.ca <br></div>
