Beloved husband of 60 years to Maria (Palumbo). Father of Lydia, Gianni, and Carlo. Tatone of Johnny.
Predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Maria (DiNardo) Salvitti.
Dear brother of Gilda (Tomas) D'Alanno, and Chiara, Domenico and Irma and the late Luigi, all of Italy. Brother-in-law of the Angiolina (late Rocco) Palumbo, and the late Giorgio and Anna Palumbo. Also survived by his nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Giuseppe retired from SKD Manufacturing after 30 years of service.
He was a member of the Verdi Club in Amherstburg.
Visiting at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Friday, Sept. 23 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. going in procession to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
In kindness, memorial donations made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated.
