<div itemprop="description">MEUNIER, John Norbert <br />Peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 78 on June 3rd, 2014 at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Beloved husband of Barbara (Pettypiece) of 53 years. Cherished father of Tom (Carolyn), John Jr. (Michelle), Dan (Nancy) and the late Catherine (2008) (David Day). Loving P&eacute;p&eacute; of Joshua (Diane), Rodney, Jaime and Dean. Survived by his twin brother Joe (Delores, 2007), Carmen Murdock (Ernie Kelso, 1985), Camille (Mary, 2010) and Louelle Whitney. Predeceased by his parents Norman (1972) and Florine (1993), his siblings Collette Ashton (1988) (Dan, 2001), Paul (2000) (Sheila), Leona (2007) (Ingo Andresen, 1984) (Bob McCulloch, 2002). Dearest friend of Jerome Gignac. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.<br />John was retired Co-owner of Anderdon Machine and Tool Mfg. and a farmer in Anderdon Township. He enjoyed his retirement time fishing and hunting. The Meunier family extends a special thank you to all who supported and cared for John.<br />Visitation at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Friday, June 6 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 7 from 12:30 p.m. until time of procession at 1:30 p.m. to St. John the Baptist Church for Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. <br />In kindness, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.<br />You may leave your condolences online at www.jhsuttonfuneral.ca <br /></div>
