<div itemprop="description">SHENKER, Marion Elizabeth (nee Tufford) <br>September 19, 1920 – May 31, 2016 <br> <br>Passed peacefully in her 96th year. Predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years Hyman Alexander. Loving mother of Lynne Miller and Grant Shenker. Proud grandmother of Brent (Paula) Miller, Scott Miller, Madison Shenker, Mackenzie Shenker, and great grandmother to Hannah Miller. Marion was the youngest of the six Tufford children, and was predeceased by them all: Beau, Walter, Gladys, Robert and Allan. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, a loving extended family, church family and many friends. <br> <br>Marion was an avid golfer, an accomplished curler, an enthusiastic dart player, and an all-star baseball player in a women’s league years ago. She was committed to her family, friends and church, and was always helping others. <br> <br>At her request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Marion’s life will be held at Wildwood Golf & RV Resort, 11112 11th Conc. Rd., Essex (McGregor) (1-866-994-9699) on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 between 1-4 p.m. There will be a service at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations towards a Memorial Bench at Wildwood Golf Course would be gratefully appreciated. Her family would like to honour her at one of her favourite places.
