<div itemprop="description">Passed away peacefully on January 15, 2016 at Richmond Terrace at the age of 92. Mom is now reunited with her loving husband Bernard (2000). Devoted mother of Richard (Sharon), Sue (Vic) Deslippe, Ron (Coral), Roger (Brenda), Jean (Denis) Chapleau, Bonnie (Bill) Kolodzy, Reg (Lorena), Randy (Annette), Tim (Susan), Terry (Cathy) and Tina (Stephen) Rosekrans. Cherished grandmother of 27 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Glen and Marie Marontate. Sister of Agnes Deslippe, Bernard Marontate, Virginia Burns and Elsie Sellick. Predeceased by her siblings Gordon Marontate, Catherine Langlois, Louise Jubenville, Austin Marontate and Gerald Marontate. Mom will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Many thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at Seasons Amherstburg Retirement Home where Mom resided for the past 7 years. Also, special thanks for the excellent care she received during her short stay at Richmond Terrace. Visitation will take place at James H. Sutton Funeral Home in Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8 p.m. The family will receive friends at St. John the Baptist Church on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the local Alzheimer's Society.</div>
