<div itemprop="description">WIGLE, Patricia Irene (n&eacute;e Carson) <br /> <br />Patricia passed away peacefully at home on May 9, 2014. Wife of the late Frederick (Bill) Colin Wigle. Predeceased by her only sibling Evelyn Kitts and eldest daughter Patricia Anne Logan (Margaret Maxted). Much loved mother of Robert (Barbara O&rsquo;Neill), Frederick William (Monica Wigle) and Karen (Austin Jeffries). Beloved grandmother of Gillian Logan (Fabien Welp-Barr), Kelly Wigle (Andrew Porter) and Nicholas Wigle. Great grandmother of Anneke Barr. Loved by Zo&euml; Horn (Michael Richardson). <br /> <br />Pat grew up in Timmins. She won a scholarship to the University of Toronto where she studied Occupational Therapy. She graduated in 1940 at the top of her class. She met Bill while visiting Amherstburg with fellow student Vivian Hutchinson (n&eacute;e Jones). They were married on October 27, 1942. Pat filled her life with devoted care to her family. St. Andrew&rsquo;s Presbyterian Church was an important part of her life. She enjoyed a wonderful network of friends, was a staunch Canadian, and made the best cherry pies and butter tarts in the world. <br /> <br />As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance and celebration will be held at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. Rev.
