Beloved husband of Norma (Caron). Dear father of Yvette McCarthy (Ray), Yvonne Simon (Tony), Deanne Bergeron (Terry), and predeceased by Raymond Jr. (1994). Predeceased by his parents Gregory & Luciénné Tardif. Dear brother of Doris Gauthier (Roger) and Denise Snyder. Loving Pépé of 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Ray was a member of the K of C River Canard, he worked at the CPR, Chrysler and was the owner of Tardif Paint & Body Repair, McGregor, and was well-known for playing his fiddle.
Visiting at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Sunday from 6-9 p.m., Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. K of C Prayers at 7:30 and Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. Further visiting at St. Clement Church, McGregor on Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
