Tom Meloche
January 19, 1934 - January 22, 2014
MELOCHE, Thomas “Tom”
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Jan. 22, 2014 at age 80. Loving husband of Rose for over 61 years. Cherished father of Roland Meloche (Karen), Michael Meloche (Kim), and predeceased by son Richard (1963). Beloved grandfather to 7 grandchildren and almost 6 great grandchildren (one to be born on Feb. 7, 2014). Predeceased by siblings Edna, Joe, Norman, Clarice, and John. Will be sadly missed by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Tom retired from SKD Manufacturing after 47 years of service. He was an Honourary Lifetime Member of Knights of Columbus (River Canard). Dad always loved the simple pleasures of life, as he always told us. He had no regrets, he had a good life.
Special thanks for the care given to Tom from the nursing staff on the 4th floor (Oncology) Windsor Regional Hospital.
Visiting at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish and K of C Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 leaving the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. going in procession to St. Joseph Church, River Canard for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
