Jan. 17, 1934 – April 4, 2014
Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, with family by her side, we regretfully announce the passing of Antonetta, 80 years, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Predeceased by her husband Donato (1991), her parents Francesco & Domenica Farchione. Loving mother of Frank (1999) & Cathy, Anna, Linda Dinunzio, Vince (Diane). Loving gramma to Sarah (Francois), Amanda (Shawn), Jennifer, Ashley (Kenny), Nick, Joshua, Marissa, Matthew, David, and bis nonna to Mila, Mason, and bébé Jacques.
Dear sister of Phyllis Rosati (late Emidio), Maria DiPasquale (late Pasquale), Carmella Mastronardi (Frank), and predeceased by Frances DiGiovanni and Vincenzo Farchione. Sister-in-law of Dan DiGiovanni, Santa Aceta (late Antonio), Antonio Ventura (Anna), Fred Ventura (Anna), Giuseppe Ventura (Maria), Connie Sepe (Elvio), and predeceased by Bartolomeo Ventura (Anna) and Maria D’Alimonte (Rocco).
She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Antonetta lived for her family. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, playing bocce and cards with family and friends. After arriving from Italy as a teenager, she worked in local farms, Marra’s Bread and Richmond Terrace.
Special thanks to everyone who compassionately cared for our mother during her illness.

Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Monday, Apr. 7 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday, Apr. 8, 2014 from the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. going in procession to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist
