<div itemprop="description">RENAUD, Frederick &ldquo;FRITZ&rdquo;<br /> 92 years on June 2, 2014 peacefully in the home on Seymour Street that he was born in. Fritz will be reunited in Heaven with the love of his life Kay (October 2003). Loving and devoted father to James &amp; wife Carolyn. Super Pop to Jamie (Cindy); Chad (Tammi), who fondly remember their Pop tinkering in his garage - woodworking. Great Pop to Colton, Carly, Drew, and Kayla. Loving Fritz to Dione (John) Chisholm &amp; their girls Ryland, and Claire. Predeceased by his parents Joseph William (Tommy) (1956) and Mary &ldquo;Maude&rdquo; (Amlin) (1947); brothers Bus (1964), Punch (1983), and Sug (1986). Will be sadly missed by in-laws Betty (Ernie) Beaudoin; Jean (Bill) Staddon, predeceased by Mel &amp; Helen Mailloux. Special &quot;Unc&quot; to Norv, Sis, Dick, Elaine and their families. Will be remembered forever by Beth Crichton (Bailey). Very close friend to Josephine Bolger, and Grandpa Fritz to Brittany. Longtime Buddy to Doug Ramsay. Fritz was a very proud Veteran of WWII serving in the 81st and 87th Artillieries and the 64th Canadian in Belgium, France and Holland. Upon returning home from the War he was employed at Brunner Mond serving as Secretary Treasurer UAW Local 89 for several years. Retired from Allied Chemical in 1984. <br />Thank you to his special extended family RCL Br # 157, the residents of Amherstburg and for all who cared for him and treating Dad with the utmost respect. <br />Fritz's positive influence, sense of humour, zest for life, most all his kind heart will be forever carried in the hearts of his family and friends.<br /> Visitation will be held at JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME 401 Sandwich St. Amherstburg 519-736-2134 on Thursday from 7-9 pm with Legion service at 7:30 and Friday 2-5 &amp; 7-9 pm with Parish Prayers at 8. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 9:30 am until time of procession at 10:30 to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. At Fritz's request in lieu of flowers donations to St. John the Baptist Parish Improvement Fund would be appreciated.
