<div itemprop="description">BECHARD, Oscar J.<br><br>It is with great sadness the children of Oscar Bechard announce his passing on February 17, 2017 at the age of 80. Loving husband for 51 years to Patricia (Dunn, 2007). Dear father of Barbara (Steve), Beverly (Keith), Robert (Shelly), Bill (Betty), and Brad (Lisa). Loving Pépé to Jennifer (Andrew), David (Erica), Tim (Maria), Justin, Jamie (Helene), Jordan, Blaine and Nicole. Proud Great Pépé to Cailyn and Jaxon. <br><br>Beloved son of the late Améde and Marie Bechard. Brother of late Orval (late Margaret), late Raymond (late Marjorie), Loretta, late Donald (late Pauline), late Clifford (Lisa), late Gerald, late Yvonne, Leo (Jane), Russell (late Florence), Rita (late Donald), Hector (late Gail), Stan (Lucie) and brother-in-law to late Rose-Marie (late Ed), Judy (late Harold), Joyce (Jim), Jo-Anne (Tom), late Linda, late Tom, late Paul (Lynda). “Muzzy” had many nieces and nephews that will fondly remember him. <br><br>He was retired for 20 years from Chrysler Canada. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, bowling, drinking beer, playing cards, watching hockey, and spending time with his family. Oscar is now reunited with his wonderful wife Patricia, with whom he spent many warm, sunny winters in Florida.<br><br>Special thanks to the staff at Devonshire Retirement Residence for taking such amazing care of our dad. Also thank you to Dr. Chow and the staff at the Ouellette Campus for their kindness and care. <br><br>In kindness, memorial donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by Oscar’s family.<br><br>Visiting will take place at James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 from the funeral home at 10 a.m. in procession to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. <br><br>You may leave your condolences online at www.jhsuttonfuneral.ca<br></div>
