Born in Abbattegio, Italy on May 18, 1928 and died on August 4, 2013. Beloved husband of Assunta (DiDomenico) for 60 wonderful years. Loving father of Rita Parete and husband Arthur, Lena McGuire and husband Neil, Anna Lopez and husband John, and Joe Zaccagnini. Proud grandfather to Tony, Steven and Daniella Parete, Melissa Greenham and husband Lee, Marcel McGuire and wife Kerri, Derek McGuire and fianc&eacute;e Diane, Christopher Lopez and wife Mary, and Stephanie and Daniel Lopez. Great grandfather to Samantha, Lisa, Dylan, and Emily. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Isolina, brothers Antonio and Mario and sister Rosa. Loving brother to Pat, Luigi, Giulio and Tina, and all their spouses. Dear brother-in-law to Pasquale DiDomenico, Marietta Parete and the late Elena, and their spouses. Rocco was a proud and dedicated longtime member of the Giuseppe Verdi Club. His passion was gardening and tending to his animals. <br />In kindness, memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County or the Italian Canadian Handicapable Association would be appreciated. <br />Visiting at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from the funeral home at 10 a.m. going in procession to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Amherstburg Mausoleum. <br />You may leave your condolences online at <br /> <br /></div>
