<div itemprop="description">TOWNS, Waneta Harris (nee Wilson)<br /><br />Waneta passed peacefully on April 15, 2015. She was born Feb. 18, 1918 in Amherstburg, Ontario to the late Joseph Cornelius and Nettie Viola Wilson. Predeceased by her husbands Chester A. Harris and George Towns. Loving mother of the late Juanita (Bob) Bell, Denise (Brian) Strachan and Cynthia (Wilbur) Mulder, grandmother of 9 grandchildren: Robert Ray Bell Jr., Linda Faye Bell, Gerald Talbot, Jason, Trevor, Ryan, Kayla, Alyssa and Megan Mulder, and 11 great grandchildren. She was the second child of sixteen siblings: Earl, Hazel Baylis, Ellwood, Naomi Ennis, Dorothy Esnault, Leona-Gwendolyn Manners, Carl, and preceded in death by 8 siblings Lawrence, Floyd, Carter, Orville, Mabel Price, Rhoda Wilson, Grace &ldquo;Betty&rdquo; Baylis and Nettie Deborah Taylor. She is also survived by MANY nieces, nephews, and extended relatives. <br /><br />The family of Waneta wish to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to everyone for the many prayers and words of comfort in this time of sorrow over the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister.<br /><br />Visiting will take place at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. <br /><br />Family Hour will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Mark's Evangelical Church, 45 Draper St., Colchester, from 11 a.m. until the time of her Sunset Service at 12 noon.
