Predeceased by parents Robert and Marion Brookland, step-mother Josephine Brookland and grandparents Robert &quot;Pop&quot; and Clara &quot;Mom&quot; Brookland. Loving mother to Marie and husband Dan DiGiovanni, Wendy and husband Robert Rickett, Edward and fianc&eacute;e Lisa Menard, Brenda and husband Frank D'Alimonte, Shelley and husband Pat Iacobelli, Jeff and wife Jodi. Dear grandmother to Matthew, Katie, Michael, Seneca, Cole, Rylee, Ashley, Natalie, Edward, Madison, Francis, Amber, Jessica, Lindsay, Brooke-Lynn, Dominique and Paul. Great grandmother to Lucy and Tony. Step grandmother of 8 and step great grandmother of 2. Survived by sister Pauline and predeceased by brothers William and Paul and sisters Isabelle and Doris. Survived by half-sister Carolyn O'Shell and half-brother Ronald and predeceased by Ernie Brookland. Sister-in-law to Pauline Parks, Richard Faucher, Kathleen Deneau, Geraldine Berthiaume, Evangeline McCaffery and the late Delphine Faucher. Doris was a school bus driver for 36 years. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Linda Britton and V.O.N. Services. Please Note: due to severe allergies, please do not wear perfumes or colognes. Visiting will be held at James H. Sutton Funeral Home (401 Sandwich St. South, Amherstburg 519-736-2134) on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. &amp; 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. to St. John the Baptist Church for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
