DESLIPPE, Garnet “Garnee”
Peacefully at home on Feb. 22, 2015 at the age of 82, surrounded by his loving family. Dear husband of Dolores (Dolly) of 58 years. Father of Duane (Debbie), Bonnie Van Lanen (Jim), Brian (Mary Anne), Tim (Nicki), Patricia Meloche (Dan), Christopher (Sheila) and the late Terry (1973). Survived by 15 grandchildren who adored their Pipi and 2 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents Norman (1971) & Blanche (1968) Deslippe, his brother Julien (2014), sister Georgina (2001), and also Ruth Ann (Tony) Simone (1996). Survived by brother-in-law John Mallett, Claire (Margaret, 2001) (Joan) Beaudoin, Paul (Gail) Beaudoin, Keith (Cheryl) Beaudoin.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Garnet was a farmer, an honourary member of the Knights of Columbus, Amherstburg, an avid card player, and was retired from General Chemical.

Visiting at James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg on Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 5-9 p.m. with K of C and Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 leaving the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. going in procession to St. John the Baptist Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
