<div itemprop="description">FOX, Lawrence - peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus on Saturday May 10, 2014. Beloved brother of Leonard (May), Garnet (2010) (Dianne), and Stella. Special Uncle to Jim Fox; Cherished Special grandfather to Jessica (Andrew), Kristina, and Amanda. Special Great grandfather to Nevaeh, Sydney, Peyton, and Sophia. Will be missed by his nieces and nephews Laurie (Steve), Vicky (Marlon), Rose Ann (Garnet), David (Nancy), Tommy (Debbie), Mary, Beth, Lisa (Bill), Sue (Brad), Michael (Nadine), Brenda (Walter), Danielle, T.J, Christopher, Mark, Ryan, Kelly, Chantelle, Matthew, Kevin, Steven, Jaclynn, Mitchell, Bradley, Rene, Nicole, Emily, Noah, Olivia, Brandon, Eric, Blake,Katie, Austin, Aiden, Dylan, Jordyn and Maya and he had a special love for each and every one of them. Lawrence worked as a custodian for the Catholic School Board for 30 years. His last 5 years were at St. Jean Baptiste, he enjoyed the language Challenge. Lawrence Volunteered for the AA&amp;M Ambulance Squad at the very beginning and spent 30 years volunteering. During this time he became Director of Training, and trained many groups in Amherstburg in First Aid / CPR. He competed in many first Aid competitions in Canada and the U.S.A. After retiring from the School Board he volunteered as an extraordinary minister of Communion for St. John the Baptist Church. Lawrence also coached Hockey Teams for his nephew. He spent many hours watching his nieces figure skate at the arena, he supported them whenever he could. Visitation will be held at JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME 401 Sandwich St. S Amherstburg 519-736-2134 on Tuesday from 6-9 pm. Parish Prayers will be said at 8:00 pm Tuesday. Friends are invited to go directly to ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH for Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Donations to St. John The Baptist Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated by the family.</div>
