<div itemprop="description">THRASHER, E. Lucille <br /> <br />Passed away with her family by her side on November 22, 2015 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her beloved husband Oliver (2006), and will be lovingly remembered by her best friend Al Sykes. Dearest mother of Ron Skilton, Vicki Sinclair, Cheryl Lebrun, Dan (Cheryl) Skilton, Lori Robinson (David), and stepmother of Richard (Sandra) Thrasher, Debbie (Des) Sullivan, and Christine (Ted) Grace. Much loved grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lillian (Robert) Bell and Donna Jean Lewis (Bill). She will also be remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends. <br /> <br />Lucille was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Worthy Matron of Essex Chapter #153, a Life Member of Fort Malden Chapter #268, and Past Worthy Matron, served as Secretary for over 25 years. She was Grand Esther of the Grand Chapter of Ontario in the Serenade to the Seasons Year and travelled many miles across Ontario visiting extensively. Lucille was a Past District Deputy Grand Matron of District #1, Past Grand Representative of North Carolina and 2nd Vice President of the Rainbow Dove Grand Representative Association. She was a Grand Chapter Committee Member of the Grand Chapter of Ontario, on Estarel for many years. Lucille was a dedicated, loyal and caring member. She believed in keeping the tradition of the Order. <br /> <br />Lucille volunteered for 30 years at Richmond Terrace, 25 years with the Amherstburg Food Bank, was a Lay Minister and a long time member of Wesley United Church. <br /> <br />Visitation at James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm., Thursday, Nov. 26 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 27 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. There will be an Eastern Star Service on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />In memory of Lucille, donations to the Amherstburg Food Bank (c/o Eleanor West), Wesley United Church (Amherstburg), or Shriner&rsquo;s Children&rsquo;s Hospital, would be greatly appreciated. <br /> <br />You may leave your condolences online at www.jhsuttonfuneral.ca <br /></div>
