PAISLEY, Margaret “Maggie” (nee O’Rourke)
Passed away May 18, 2016 peacefully at Met Hospital with her family by her side. Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas (Oct. 4, 2006). Beloved mom to Todd and Christine, Debbie and predeceased by her son Jimmy (1983).
Special great aunt to Paisley, Hayley, and Mitchell, and dearly loved and missed by many other nieces and nephews, and her best friend of 60 years Rose Black.
Maggie worked on Boblo for over 30 years. She came into this world alone, without a mother, and became the Mother of ALL Mothers!!!!
Cremation has taken place. A family gathering to celebrate Maggie’s life will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Paisley residence in Amherstburg. All are welcome after 2 p.m.
Maggie’s family would like to thank the staff on the 5th and 4th floors at Met Hospital and a special thanks to the nurses and doctors in the ICU for their compassion and care.
